YourFoRest at Decorex 2023

From October 8th to 12th, the annual Decorex 2023 exhibition took place at Olympia London Pavilion in London. This year, Ukrainian designers had the opportunity for the first time to showcase domestic product design to the world by participating in an event of such magnitude. The creative association Ukrainian Product Design as part of the support from the USAID program "Competitive Economy of Ukraine” presented a unique experience titled "Between Art and Nature," bringing together 9 Ukrainian designers, including the proudly represented team YourFoRest.

The main motif of the Ukrainian stand was the preservation of Ukrainian identity, the exploration of new forms and materials through the study of traditional arts, crafts, and manufacturing methods. National motifs, natural forms and colors, natural materials, and a strong philosophy of sustainable development and ecological design—all of these were observed by visitors at Decorex 2023.

The organizers of the Ukrainian stand were Oksana Tverdokhlibova and the Ukrainian Product Design team, with talented Anna Hoyman responsible for scenography. We truly succeeded in combining 9 brands into an organic symbiosis. The Ukrainian stand featured:

  • PANOPTIKUM COLLECTIONS Workshop, creating unique wooden objects for over 10 years.
  • DIZA Collective – conceptual Ukrainian production of designer furniture.
  • lab.design - a furniture studio specializing in high-quality marble.
  • The collection of multilayer AR wallpapers "The O," created by Yevhen Lytvynenko.
  • Lighting studio by Ylanzhi.objects - Julia Yalanzhi.
  • ZV'YAZANI - carpets created using ancient techniques and traditional equipment.
  • TASHA ORO - interesting decor crafted from unexpected recycled items like fragments of automotive construction or household appliances.
  • GORN Ceramics - creative home decor items

And, of course, YourFoRest presented the Pontelli chest of drawers and wall panels, Oblique panels, and Italy Classic panels.

The combination of bold and vibrant colors with warm wood and light decor, unique zone lighting, furniture made of marble and textiles—the Ukrainian stand stood out as vivid and distinctive, making it difficult for anyone to pass by unnoticed. We truly enjoyed this grand event for the global design community and are pleased to share photos with you.
