DVRZ Design Days: Second Season August 22-25, 2024
The second season of DVRZ Design Days, one of the brightest and largest design events in Ukraine, took place on August 22-25, 2024. The event brought together 42 participants, professionals, artists, designers and manufacturers from various fields of industrial and interior design, creating a platform for the exchange of ideas, exploring the latest trends and presenting innovative solutions.

The program consisted of two exhibition zones, two educational lectures, and six curatorial sections dedicated to functional art, industrial design, kinetic and urban sculpture, Ukrainian decorative materials, real-time design, and contemporary ceramics.

The second season of DVRZ Design Days opened in Kyiv's industrial district with an exhibition of functional art at the PANOPTIKUM gallery, curated by the Belgian gallery owner Jean François Deklerc, and hosted by Kassone, the event's institutional partner. The opening was accompanied by welcoming speeches by leading Ukrainian designers and architects, who emphasized the importance of industrial design development for the country's innovative future and its influence on European colleagues.


YourFoRest presented the Noble coffee table by designer Yana Molodykh and the Zest coffee table from the Mid-Century Modern collection.
The second location with an industrial design exhibition opened its doors in the KultMotiv space curated by Kateryna Sokolova, where one could get acquainted with unique furniture products by Ukrainian manufacturers and designers.

Also, a unique event has taken place - the opening of the first in Ukraine The Library of Building Materials in the space of BUDZIRKA, an institutional partner of the event. We were happy to join and replenish the fund with samples of the best wood YourFoRest works with.

As part of DVRZ design days, British design critic Alice Rawsthorne spoke at a conference on inclusive spaces, organized in collaboration with institutional partner AGROMAT. Attention was paid to creating products and spaces that are accessible to everyone, regardless of physical abilities. Ms. Alice emphasized that design helps to implement socially important projects such as the construction of temporary housing for refugees, greening areas during drought, etc.

Charitable purpose. For the second year in a row, Industrial Design Days has been supporting the GART military and civilian rehabilitation space in Kryvyi Rih.The funds raised during the event were used to build a facility with a range of rehabilitation options: rooms for rehabilitation procedures, a special swimming pool, rooms for psychological work and art therapy.
The Design for Real Time 3.0 exhibition, which symbolizes the resilience and indomitable spirit of Ukrainians in the face of war.

This year's DVRZ Design Days had the main theme “Nyni/Now”, which defines contemporary Ukrainian design as a response to the needs of the local community in times of crisis.

The guests and participants of the event were delighted with the professional organization and variety of topics. Many noted the importance of DVRZ Design Days as a platform for learning about the latest trends in industrial design and establishing new contacts.
The final day of the event was held in a festive atmosphere, and the organizers promised that the third season of DVRZ Design Days would be even bigger, with even more innovations and international speakers.



DVRZ Design Days has once again demonstrated its importance for the development of Ukrainian industrial design and has become a platform for the exchange of ideas that can influence the future of the industry. We look forward to seeing you next season!
