Description
"The one of valuable aspect of our home is space. To comfortably zone the rooms and save space, we have created an alternative to heavy walls – the visually light Cell Expansion partition. Inspired by Japanese Shoji screens – traditional semi-transparent screens used for centuries in Japanese homes. We developed a technological solution for modern living by assembling carefully selected wooden elements into a solid panel and fixing it in a frame with a concealed sliding system. Cell Expansion is natural ash wood that creates a practical and aesthetically pleasing space around itself.
The Wooden partition Cell Expansion maximizes space and frees it from excess. It is a conscious use of space, a feeling of flow and continuity thanks to the free penetration of light and air through the replicas. The Cell Expansion establishes a connection between spaces while preserving the privacy of its sections. The unique play of light on the walls and floor – a pattern left by Cell Expansion cannot leave connoisseurs of exquisite fantasy furniture indifferent.
Maximum space, minimum walls – Cell Expansion seamlessly integrates into your home, zoning even small spaces and creating a comfortable atmosphere for living and contemplation.
The design of the wooden partition Cell Expansion was co-designed with architects and interior designers DK Architects by Dmitry Kurganov and Marina Rybak.
